What's included

What a bathroom remodel covers

A full bathroom remodel usually starts by taking the room down to the studs, so the parts you never see get done right too.

Demo & waterproofing

Old tile and fixtures come out, then a waterproofing system goes behind the new shower tile. It's the part you never see and the part that has to be right.

  • Shower pans & drain slope
  • Waterproof membranes

Walk-in showers

Walk-in showers with bench seating, niches, frameless glass and dual shower fixtures.

  • Frameless glass
  • Benches & niches
  • Tub-to-shower conversions

Steam showers

A sealed enclosure, a steam generator on its own circuit and controls inside the shower, installed to the manufacturer's requirements.

  • Vapor-tight waterproofing
  • Sloped ceiling
  • Glass to the ceiling

Tubs & vanities

Freestanding soaking tubs, double and floating vanities, mirrors and sconces.

  • Freestanding tubs
  • Double vanities

Tile & floors

Large-format marble-look tile, hex and pebble floors, wood-look tile. Straight lines and clean cuts around every fixture.

  • Large-format tile
  • Hex & pebble mosaics

Plumbing, electrical & venting

We plumb and wire the fixtures, lighting, fans and steam units ourselves, under our Colorado plumbing and electrical licenses, and fix venting problems we find in the walls.

  • Exhaust fans vented properly
  • Layered lighting

How it works

How a bathroom remodel works

No pushy sales. You see the scope and the price in writing before work starts.

  1. Walkthrough

We look at the bathroom, the plumbing layout and what you want from the new space. Walkthroughs typically take 30-45 minutes.

  2. Written line-item estimate

Demo, waterproofing, tile, glass, fixtures and electrical as separate lines, so every choice has a visible cost.

  3. Selections & permits

Tile, fixtures and vanity get chosen and ordered. We coordinate permits and inspections when the work requires them.

  4. Build

Demo, rough plumbing and electrical, waterproofing, tile, then glass and fixtures. You deal directly with the owners, and changes get a written change order.

Cost & timeline

What drives cost and timeline

We don't publish bathroom prices, because size alone says little about the work. Your estimate is itemized, so you can see what each choice adds. The main things that move the number:

  • Moving fixtures. Keeping the toilet, vanity and shower where they are costs less than relocating drains and supply lines.
  • Shower size and glass. Frameless glass is measured after the tile is finished and made to fit. More panels and taller enclosures cost more.
  • Tile. Small mosaics like hex and pebble, large-format slabs, niches and benches all take more labor than a simple layout.
  • Steam. The generator, its dedicated circuit and a fully sealed enclosure add cost over a standard shower.
  • What demo uncovers. Water damage, poor venting or framing problems show up once walls are open. If they do, you see a written change order before we fix them.

The timeline depends on permits (when required), fixture and tile lead times, and the wait for glass, which can only be measured once the tile is done. If it's the only full bathroom in the house, tell us early so we can plan around it.

Steam showers: what's different

A steam shower is a fully enclosed shower that holds steam from a generator installed nearby, often in a vanity, closet or attic space. It needs vapor-proof waterproofing on the walls and ceiling, a ceiling sloped so condensation runs down the wall instead of dripping, glass that closes the enclosure to or near the ceiling, a dedicated electrical circuit for the generator, and service access to the generator. Slopes and drain details matter more here than anywhere else in the house. See the Longmont master suite we built around a steam shower.

Permits and inspections

Plumbing and electrical changes often need a permit, depending on the scope and your city. We coordinate permits when required, schedule inspections as each stage is ready, and do the work to code.

We had a great experience with Alex, Serg - the RSRT team. Our bathroom turned out better than we imagined! They were professional, reliable, and detail-oriented throughout the process. Clean, knowledgeable, and the best contractor experience we’ve had - highly recommend!

After remodeling our kitchen a few years ago, we knew who to call for our master bath. The new design is clean, modern, and perfectly done - great craftsmanship as always.

Serg and Alex remodeled our kids’ bathroom and the hall bath at the same time. They helped us pick durable finishes and explained where it made sense to spend more money and where it didn’t. Tile work is dead straight, no gaps around fixtures, and they fixed a venting issue from the original builder while they were in the walls. Zero pressure, just honest communication.

Bathroom remodeling questions

Something else on your mind? Call (720) 392-4297 or ask in your estimate request.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

It depends on the size, whether fixtures move, the tile and glass you choose and what's behind the walls, so we don't quote from a price list. After the walkthrough you get a written line-item estimate that shows what each part costs.

Can you add a steam shower to an existing bathroom?

Often, yes. It needs a fully sealed enclosure, a dedicated circuit for the generator and a spot for the generator where it can be serviced. We check all three at the walkthrough.

Can you convert a tub into a walk-in shower?

Yes. That usually means a new shower pan and drain work, waterproofing, tile and glass. The walkthrough tells us what the existing floor and plumbing allow.

Do you use subcontractors?

Not for the core of a bathroom. Alex and Sergei do the plumbing and electrical themselves, licensed in Colorado, plus the framing, waterproofing, tile, drywall and paint. Fewer hand-offs, and the people who build the shower pan are the ones who tile over it.

Do you remodel hall and kids' bathrooms too?

Yes. Clients have had us do a kids' bath and a hall bath at the same time. We'll help you pick durable finishes and explain where spending more is worth it and where it isn't.

How do you protect the rest of the house?

We protect floors and the path to the bathroom, keep dust contained and clean up as we go. If you're living in the house, we plan the work around that.
